The River Otter Cottage

The River Otter Cottage has beautiful Polar white floors throughout the entire cottage, one large bedroom with a queen size bed, private bathroom, full kitchen, microwave, coffee pot, living/sitting room with a gas log fireplace, large heart pine cathedral ceiling great room with Direct TV, washer and dryer, carport, and central heat and air.

The sunset views looking down a long stretch of the French Broad River from this cottage’s  large covered porch are fantastic. It is common to see Beavers, King Fishers, River Otters, and even Bald Eagles making their way up the river. A historical and massive, 400 year-old white oak tree, the Forsythe Oak, sits just steps from your deck. This is a year round rental, great for weekends or longer stays.
